IHCP Provider Enrollment Revalidation Requirements

 

IHCP recently posted a bulletin clarifying the Provider Enrollment revalidation requirement pursuant to federal law.  All providers enrolled with the IHCP before January 1, 2012, are required to revalidate their enrollments by March 26, 2016.  CMS has instructed states to disenroll any provider than fails to revalidate by this deadline.

Key notes from the revalidation process are:

  • The IHCP Provider Enrollment revalidation is separate from the Medicare revalidation.
  • A completed IRS form W-9 must be submitted with the IHCP enrollment packet
  • Schedule C’s must contain a complete list of disclosures
  • Providers that do not plan to revalidate their enrollment should complete the IHCP disenrollment form
